The Minister used his speech and Q&As to emphasise to the importance of London and our sector to the Prime Minister’s ambitions to drive UK growth and prosperity.
Minister Lee Rowley MP said:
“I’m pleased to listen and engage with London’s property industry, especially on the hugely important topics of making the capital’s buildings safer and greener. The Government has made a clear commitment to ensure that all properties meet safety standards for the people who occupy and use them. In addition, we remain committed to buildings playing their part in ensuring we tread more lightly on the earth through both retrofitting existing, and building new greener, properties. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be able to discuss this with the sector and look forward to continuing our conversations in the months ahead”
