Almost 300 delegates joined us over the course of the evening at our UKREiiF Cities Reception.
Guests were welcomed by Shravan Joshi MBE, Chairman of the Planning and Transportation Committee at the City of London Corporation, who spoke of the importance of Government supporting London’s role as a global leader. Shravan was followed by Melissa Román Burch, Chief Operating Officer at the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
In her speech, Melissa spoke on some of the exciting development plans currently underway in Manhattan, including a new Life Science District in the heart of the City – championing the importance of collaboration between all levels of government to enact effective change.
The evening was closed by Dr Wei Yang, Cofounder and CEO at the Digital Task Force for Planning who championed the importance and potential of planning to drive positive change in communities.
